The Last Supper

Our final evening of the class of 2016 SF ended on a real high. Each of us shared our most memorable moments and learning from the trip…which was so meaningful.

We ended the evening with another great feast by the staff at Hotel L’Eveche. They’re like family to us and I think Madame and her team were touched by our efforts to publicly thank them…seems it doesn’t happen that often. Truly the family went out of their way to accommodate the wide and varied requests of our group without complaint…although I will miss Madame’s epic eye rolls. She’s rather like a female Basil Fawlty!

The next morning, nearly everyone left on the bus to go back to Toulouse airport. Just a few of us were making our own way onwards. After a few tearful goodbyes, the bus departed and the place immediately fell into silence. It was lovely to reflect on the experience with Issy and Simone before we packed up the car and headed out.

Alet is another place with very special memories. I have a feeling we’ll be back! Now, many weeks later, I’m still processing the depth of learning we discovered in this region. It’s as if the petals of a rose are continuing to open, presenting information just at the time when each of us is ready to receive it. What a blessing!
